From September to November 2022 MM will organize for the second year the FIFA marcom cup reserved for the communication and marketing sector.

FIFA by EA Sports is the most played football video game simulation in the world. In Belgium, the Pro League has been organizing the official championship for three years now.

The competition will take place this year on the same principle as the football world cup in Qatar. 32 teams will compete in the first round divided into 8 groups of 4 teams. The first two teams of each group will be qualified for the round of 16.

Semifinals and final will be played live on November 23 followed by the broadcast of the match Belgium – Canada.

RTL vs RMB and Profirst vs Proximus for a place in the final

The semi-finals and the grand final of our FIFA B2B tournament will be held this Wednesday 23 November, starting at 4pm at The Merode.

The former will pit Profirst (Robert Krynski – Geoffrey Hannon) against EnergyDoktr aka Proximus (Robin Somers – Daan Lettens) and We are RTL (Bryan Van der Jeugt – Arnaud Bouchat) against Roberto Kahnrlos FC aka RMB (Antoine Kahn – Robert Bocksruth).

As a reminder, this year 32 teams and 64 gamers participated in the tournament.

After the victory of Roberto Kahnrlos FC aka RMB and Dolphins of Funchal aka Clicktrust in Group H, we can showcase the teams that will compete in the next round of the B2B FIFA Tournament.

FIFA B2B Tournament: 14 teams already qualified

There are only two places left in the Round of 16 of the FIFA B2B Tournament co-hosted by MM and Azerion and these are currently being contested by three teams (the fourth having withdrawn): Wunderman City (Raphaël Naudts – Tomas Van Loon), Roberto Kahnrlos FC aka RMB (Antoine Kahn – Robert Bocksruth) and The Dolphins of Funchal aka Clicktrust (Dimitri Teixeira – Jean-Baptiste Brasseur).

The winners of this Group H will be up against Produpress Performance Team (Issam Bellaraj – Alexandre Metzgen) and The P-Nocers aka Proximus (Olivier Poncelet -Geoffrey Deleau).

Also qualified were Tiki Taka aka RMB (Elliott Bouchar – Arnaud Gillemon) and S1 Digital (Joeri Joos – Dieter Somers), winners of Group F, who will be up against FIF iO (Kevin Lewkowicz – Adrien Meurice) and Terminators aka Proximus (Tarik Abomulay -Michael Schöpges) respectively.

Proximus and Azerion : They did it !

The first eight teams of the FIFA B2B tournament co-organised by MM and Azerion are known. In Group D, Proximus EnergyDoktr (Robin Somers – Michiel De Decker) and Royal Sporting Club Azerion (Tiago Van Eesbeeck – Benoît Vachaudez) have qualified. They will meet respectively Contact Stream Team (François Evrard -Guillaume Fierens) and Bayern Monique de Blue2Purple (Quentin Thielemans – Harold Thuysbaert), winners of Group C.

The 8th finals will also see We are RTL (Bryan Van der Jeugt – Arnaud Bouchat), against E-Makina 4.0 (Charles-Henri Docquiert-Fabio Alcobia) as well as Profirst (Robert Krynski – Geoffrey Hannon) versus Krëfel Marketing (Didier Kerinckx – Valentin Melchior).

In the meantime, Group F will be competing: Terminators (Tarik Abomulay – Michael Schöpges), FIF iO (Kevin Lewkowicz – Adrien Meurice), Done By Us (Marnix Robyns – Alessandro Jiménez) and IPM United (Noël Nootoo – Sébastien Sterpigny).

Contact and Blue2Purple qualify for the 8th round

The FIFA B2B Tournament, co-organized by MM and Azerion, is entering the thick of things. The qualifiers of Group C are known: they are Contact Stream Team (François Evrard – Guillaume Fierens) and Bayern Monique (Quentin Thielemans – Harold Thuysbaert), a team registered by Blue2Purple as its name does not indicate.

They will be opposed to the two winners of Group D: Royal Sporting Club Azerion (Tiago Van Eesbeeck – Benoît Vachaudez), Les Giraffes Intrepides (Nicolas Vancraenbroeck – Laurie Tchaoussoglou), Wunderball (Mathijs Bettens – Martijn Beckers) and EnergyDoktr (Robin Somers – Michiel De Decker).

At this stage, the four other teams qualified for the 8th finals are We are RTL (Bryan Van der Jeugt – Arnaud Bouchat) who will play against E-Makina 4.0 (Charles-Henri Docquiert – Fabio Alcobia) and Profirst (Robert Krynski – Geoffrey Hannon) who will play against Krëfel Marketing (Didier Kerinckx – Valentin Melchior).

FIFA B2B Tournament: 2 new teams qualify

The winners of Group B of the FIFA B2B Tournament, co-organised by MM and Azerion, are known. They are Krëfel Marketing (Didier Kerinckx – Valentin Melchior) and E-Makina 4.0 (Charles-Henri Docquiert – Fabio Alcobia).

These two teams will be respectively opposed to Profirst (Robert Krynski – Geoffrey Hannon) and We Are RTL (Bryan Van der Jeugt – Arnaud Bouchat), winners of Group A.

In the meantime, the Group C matches have started. They oppose Wavemaker United (Vincent Laduron – Benoit Lefevre), Hilarious (Jérôme Canon – Audry Van Essche), Contact Stream Team (François Evrard – Guillaume Fierens) and Bayern Monique (Quentin Thielemans – Harold Thuysbaert).

FIFA B2B Tournament: The first teams to qualify

The first two teams to qualify for the Round of 16 of the FIFA B2B Tournament co-hosted by MM and Azerion have been announced. They are We Are RTL (Bryan Van der Jeugt – Arnaud Bouchat) and Profirst (Robert Krynski – Geoffrey Hannon) who won Group A.

Now it’s the turn of Group B to enter the competition. Krëfel Marketing (Didier Kerinckx – Valentin Melchior), E-makina 4.0 (Charles-Henri Docquiert – Fabio Alcobia), RTL Play Team (Nicolas Bastiaans – Pauline Petrozzino) and Real Puento (Adrien Van Delsen – Tom Borri).

The FIFA tournament co-hosted by MM and Azerion will start on September 12 with the qualifying matches between the participants of Group A. These are Profirst (Robert Krynski – Geoffrey Hannon), We Are RTL (Bryan Van der Jeugt – Arnaud Bouchat), AWSR Football Club (Julien Borwe – Loïc Perpete) and Special Olympics & LDV (Joran Braet – Wesley Kuystermans).

The results of these matches will be announced on September 19 and will be followed by those of the seven other qualifying groups. A total of 32 teams have registered for the second edition of the FIFA 22 B2B Tournament.

The climax is scheduled for November 23 with the semi-finals and grand final live at The Merode, followed by the broadcast of the Belgium-Canada match to celebrate the Red Devils’ entry into the World Cup. Participation in this event is free for MM subscribers.
